Additional Funding Approved For The Braille Trail Project At Placerita Canyon State Park

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved additional funding for the Braille Trail Project at Placerita Canyon State Park at its meeting on Tuesday.
An amount “not to exceed $75,000 in Specified Excess Funds” was approved for the project, which transforms part of the existing Heritage trail at Placerita Canyon State Park.
The project will relocate the existing Heritage trail entrance area, create Braille and interpretive signage, install safety railing and create “a panoramic relief of the natural area and miniature sculpture of the Oak of the Golden Dream,” Tuesday’s agenda said.
